Robert Schaberl (*1961 Feldbach) is an Austrian artist. From 1979 to 1985 he studied art education at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. Schaberl characterizes a painting style in which circular forms represent the main motif. The reduction to round forms can already be seen in early photographic works. Through reflection, reflection of light and the application of several layers of colour, the effect of colour and space in his pictures changes according to the perspective of the observer.
The almost mechanical colour gradients give the work of art a kind of glowing aura, which becomes extremely fascinating when one takes a closer look. It gets something infinite and one begins to lose oneself in this spiral of colours.
